We have learnt that Shahids father Pankaj Kapur has visited Miras family at their home in the posh locality of Chattarpur Farms, Delhi. The families met to discuss Shahids seriousness about Mira and to give an assurance that marriage will be on the cards for the couple.
Reports have suggested that Shahid and the 23-year old Mira met through their spiritual guru.
Mira has studied at Vasant Valley School and Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi. Shahid and Mira have grown so close, that reports say, he recently visited Miras older sister after she delivered her baby.
Now, this relationship looks very different from Shahids previous ones.
In the past, Shahid has dated famous actresses. His relationships have always been in the public eye. He admitted to his relationship with Kareena Kapoor and was then rumoured to be dating Vidya Balan, followed by a romantic liaison with Priyanka Chopra.
But with Mira he has been going on hush-hush dates.
However, now it seems that this under the radar relationship is ready to come into the open since Shahids father has met with Miras family.
